Why did you choose to study in Singapore?
After O levels, I was in a dilemma on deciding which country I want to continue my studies at.
But after quite a while, I made up my mind that I want to go to Singapore.
Here are the reasons why:
1) Singapore is safe and the weather all year round is great.
2) Singapore is not far away from home; it is only a 3 hours flight from Myanmar to Singapore.
3) I will be able to use both English and Mandarin to communicate with people around- which helps me improve both of the languages.
4) I can also work part-time during my free time.

How do you deal with stress?

When it comes to dealing with stress, it is better not to overthink.
Doing what you should do daily and not thinking about the future helps a lot.
I constantly reminded myself that things are going to work out at the end and it is no point in stressing over things that I cannot control.
Talking with my family and friends also helped me de-stressed a lot.

What are the struggles I faced living in Singapore alone?

Living alone in a foreign country can be challenging.
I solely have myself to depend on. Meals are not ready on the dining table like it used to before.
You have to do everything yourself starting from laundry and cleaning the house.
On the other hand, I have to complete my school work. But, it is quite tiring but it is all worth it.
It's all worth it because I know that I am growing into becoming an independent individual.
